Bachem and DBA are pleased to present our 43 New Tau Peptides.
The featured product today is Tau Peptide (45-73) (Exon 2/Insert 1 Domain) trifluoroacetate salt (H-7804), a sequence of the so-called "projection domain" of Tau protein. Phosphorylated residues 68, 69 and 71 of this sequence have been identified on the transformed PHF-Tau (paired helical filament-Tau).
We also have a variety of Biotinylated Peptides like the Biotinyl-Tau Peptide (306-336) (Repeat 3 Domain) (human) trifluoroacetate salt (H-8028). The amphipathic helical structure of the third fragment (306-336) in the four-repeat microtubule-binding domain, is hypothesized to be responsible for the formation of the neuropathological filament. The additional biotin moiety will bind avidin or streptavidin with high specificity and affinity, providing robust results.
