The Healgen Rapid COVID-19 Antigen Self-Test is an in-vitro immunochromatographic assay for the qualitative detection of the nucleocapsid protein antigen from SARS-CoV-2 in nasal swab specimens taken directly from individuals suspected of carrying COVID-19 within the first ten days of symptom onset.

This antigen test can be used to detect both wild and mutant SARS-CoV-2 variants, including the new Omicron variant, Delta (B.1.617.2), Kappa (B.1.617.1), Alpha (B.1.1.7), Eta (B.1.525), and many other variants.
